The Art Of Public Relations. Online:

The good thing about a traditional retail store is the personalized service it is capable of providing the consumer with. Doubts, negotiations, problems, and queries can all be solved on the spot in most cases. Even if it does take time, there is a brand you can put a face to and trust.

An online retailer faces no such advantage. Sure, there is a retailer, but his is a faceless brand, especially if it is an emerging or small business. His services are availed of only if his sales pitch is appropriately put forward or his credibility vouched for.

This is where
e-marketing comes into the picture. The brand, the concept, the idea and the service, are all neatly bundled up into specially formulated public relation strategies which are then presented to the consumer.

The consumer is drawn towards the retailer using a variety of
online marketing techniques. For instance, e-marketers can create a corporate or business blog for the retailer which acts like an interactive platform. The retailer can use the services of the marketer or can himself contribute to the blogs with the latest news on his industry, product updates, customer support, etc. The consumer can observe for himself the manner in which the retailer showcases his wares and decide if his services can be depended upon.

Another effective PR tool applied for generating visibility is
social media marketing. Creating a space on a social networking site like Facebook or Bebo can boost a retailer’s visibility tremendously. There are 200 social networking sites estimated to exist on the Internet and with the immense number of people as their members they are the right grounds to influence existing and new clients in an informal environment.

Clear Media Online is constantly updating itself on the latest break-troughs in the virtual as well as real world. Our PR techniques are innovative and our e-marketing methods highly successful. Whether you have an offline business or an online domain or both, our public relation concepts assure your goods and services maximized visibility.

Marketing Offline. Marketing Online:

The great thing about search engine marketing is its ability to attract a consumer who has already expressed interest in a service or product via a search engine term. The consumer’s curiosity is already whetted. It is up to the e-marketer to satisfy this curiosity.

Offline marketing campaigns set the preliminary grounds by exposing the consumer to its product or service through the print media, the television, the radio and billboards. These offline campaigns affect about 70 percent of your overall audience. The remaining 30 percent is that part of the market that can be reached effectively through
online marketing.

Thus, in a way, your advertising strategies have to effectively cover offline as well as
online marketing. Only by integrating your online campaigns with the offline ones can you expect your brand to have better recognition. The more aware your target market is about your product, the better chances you have of establishing their trust in your brand.

Today, building a stable relationship with your audience is made easier with online marketing methods like podcasts, search engines, social interaction platforms, corporate blogs, mobile e-mail alerts, company websites, etc. to name a few. This YouTube era prefers a more personalized approach and outlook to any virtual communication.

Formality is a passé word for this generation of consumers, though they prefer to be approached with a degree of professionalism. After all, if a seller has to stand out from, the multitude of competitors that are present online, he has to have the right mix of trust, user appeal and a professional approach to conducting business.

At
Clear Media Online, our e-marketing professionals work with you to understand your advertising requirements. We are proficient in understanding your offline campaigns and work accordingly to integrate them with our online marketing methods.

The Business Of Corporate Blogging:

Tony D. Baker a blogger on Blogger compares starting a blog with keeping a pet. In the beginning its fun and a novelty, but as time goes by, you realize the maintenance, the training manual and other onuses that come with it cannot be ignored.

When web logging entered the scenario, it had the characteristics of a virtual journal. Over the years blogging kept evolving to include political views, art reviews, video collections, musical influences, fashion forecasts and events, travelogues, etc. to the list of contents featured in a blog.

Blogs today have been accepted by mainstream media as major conglomerates of public opinion. There is usually no cost involved to start one. They are easily customizable and are a time-saving and informal media to interact with other individuals having similar tastes and ideas.

Based on the popularity quotient of blogs, corporate groups include blogs in their public relations and
marketing campaigns. While, the content of these blogs is certainly inclined towards meeting their own ends, in essence they are wonderful marketing strategies as they measure consumer tastes and suggestions, which can benefit the company in the future.

A
business blog also provides the consumer a peek into the undertakings of the company. It provides an informal portal for consumers to interact with key company personnel who are in the position to offer their personal views, clarify multifarious procedures, and address consumer displeasure.

This powerful
e-marketing tool is here to stay. According to market researches, more than 5 percent of Fortune 500 companies blog. The first half of 2006 calculated 34 percent of large companies as having established web logs. Their popularity is steadily increasing in corporate circles.

Making Money With Affiliate marketing:

A million people visiting hundreds of websites every day, immense amounts of information being processed while surfing, transactions being made, data being edited, analyzed and categorized for further reference. It’s the daily cycle of knowledge on the World Wide Web.

As the number of people utilizing this medium of communication and information increase in number each day, the possibility of making additional profits is presented to businesses plying their goods and services online.

Affiliate marketing is a cooperative endeavor between a business retailer and a publisher for the main purpose of bringing in profits while building up on clientele and market reach. It is economical, measurable and simple.

The concept that rides behind the principle of
affiliate marketing is advertising a particular retailer’s product or service on a website, blog or a search engine result page that belongs to another party or publisher using an affiliate network.

An affiliate network is in essence a middle-man for the retailer and the
affiliate marketer. It provides the merchant with the tools to carry out the advertising campaigns and collects the commission fees from the same. A part of this fee is paid to the affiliate or publisher of the advertiser.

The compensation methods that are used by affiliate programs are cost per sale [CPS], cost per action [CPA], cost per click [CPC] or cost per mille [CPM]. Affiliates make anything from 5% to 30% by simply advertising a business’ links.

At
Clear Media Online, we offer break-through solutions in e-marketing services. A successful revenue generating concept like affiliate marketing is just one of the SEO efforts which we utilize.

Search Differently With An SEO Expert:

There is an insane amount of information on the Internet, and the best way to find exactly what you are looking for is by using search engines like Google, Yahoo! Search, Live Search, and Ask.com. Enter in the word or phrase related to your query and-voilĂ ! instant access to a thousand links that will take you to pages having the answer to your questions. But how effective is your search and how different is it from searches made by professional search engine optimizers?

Cre8asite, an online forum, had a discussion on this issue and the results were enlightening and in favor of professionals- which was quite expected to say the least.

A professional of any kind is an asset in any field and business; and
search engine optimizers are experts in the field of online marketing. It is their job to make sure that their marketing strategies help a business to draw the most visitors to its online address.

One important responsibility of an
SEO is to optimize a website’s content and build up its link popularity. This allows search engines to allow the website more visibility and ultimately achieve better ranking in search results.

Intuition and extensive knowledge goes a long way in getting better search results. Tapping into tools like AdWords for relevant keyword selection, using Google BlogSearch to avoid repetition of data, using special characters and terms are just a few of the tricks up the sleeves of talented
SEOs.

At
Clear Media Online, our team of SEOs uses the best resources and knowledge at our disposal. Our innovative e-marketing strategies are the best in the field.

Clicks →Traffic →Business →Success:

One of the most successful search engine marketing formulas, PPC or pay-per-click advertising came into the market in the late 1990s. It rides on the idea of generating money for a website affiliate whenever a visitor to the site clicks on an advertisement featured on it. This kind of advertising generates money for the site affiliate and business for the retailer [who is advertising for his product].

The best part about such an idea is even if the visitor has not purchased anything from the retailer’s website, the affiliate still makes money with every click. Though the rate per click may range from $1 to $10, the lasting profit that an affiliate can make is significant. Through
pay-per-click advertising, the retailer also ensures that his site gets the required amount of visitors who are viewed as potential buyers.

In order to attract traffic, the advertiser or retailer has to feature his ads on as wide a network as possible. Besides a content website, the advertisements can be featured on search engines, blogs and advertising networks as well. The broader a business’ reach, the higher its visibility quotient. There are certain factors which are crucial for achieving an extensive network. Pertinent keywords are the most pivotal of these factors.

According to the Internet Advertising Bureau’s programmer, Jack Wallington, “using relevant keywords in content including headings and domain names is a way forward”. He further advises using the content to “decide what people would search for to find that web page then make sure it is highlighted in page heading, links and throughout the copy.”

Clear Media Online has an expert online marketing team which applies effective search engine marketing formulae like pay-per-click to increase the amount of traffic your website attracts. We regularly monitor and report on your advertising campaign and enable you control and measure your search engine marketing spend.

Quick, Catch The Virus!:

The popular social networking site, facebook, is a good example of the users of viral marketing techniques. Thousands of applications are available on this site [rumoured to be 5,500 in number as of October 11, 2007] which is said to have risen from a ranking of 60 to a ranking of 7th best social networking site on the Internet. These applications include tools for sending candy, free gifts, and even virtual clubs where you can have an online fight with another user.

The only way most of these applications can be added to a member’s profile page is by inviting non users to add these applications to theirs. Some applications also reward ‘money’ which users can spend online on that particular application’s products. There are a number of private individuals who hold the ownership rights to such applications distributing them free. To what purpose you might ask. Well, when one user adds it and uses it, his friend can see how it works and try it himself, in the process making it available to a hundred more on his list.

Viral marketing thus is commercial word-of-mouth advertising at its best. A wonderful mix of interaction, low cost development and speed, online viral marketing’s usefulness in e-marketing circles is succinctly explained by Martina Zavagno, founder and editor of Adverblog.com. According to her, “An advertising concept, in order to work in a viral perspective, needs to add value to the user’s experience. This value can be explicated in something entertaining, in something educational or in something rewarding.”

The advertising material has to be small in file size, mobile and should have a high consumer recall quotient, while allowing it to be passed on swiftly through peer-to-peer file sharing programs and e-mails. The quality of the viral material has to be such that it has to possess the ability to inspire users; as ultimately, it is this group that decides the material’s value.

Clear Media Online sees the market value that any successful e-marketing campaign places over a simple but effective concept like viral marketing. Our strategies are time-tested. Our innovations break-through.

Get Noticed With Social Book Marking:

The Web 2.0 era brought in its wake the power to enable users to make their voices heard over the Internet. Social networking, a by-product of this era, allowed these users to further interact with each other, socially as well as professionally. Today, most social networking sites feature discussion boards, communities or groups on particular interests, access to a member’s blog page, and review boards.

SEO techniques utilize social book marking methods which actually is an off-shoot of social media marketing. It allows marketers to promote their brands by displaying them on different social media networks like StumbleUpon, Reddit, Digg, etc.

An increasing number of websites feature tiny icons below noteworthy content or pictures or photos. The user can click on the icon of his/her choice and thus tag or bookmark it. The particular page or the content of that page will be featured on his profile on that particular social network. The user is thus able to view the content that had interested him a few days ago at his own leisure, at times also getting regular updates on it.

Besides the user, the visitors to his page too will be able to view the content, ultimately widening the audience and the market for a business.

Social book marking, with its tag and ranking options, also makes available a web page’s content in search engine result pages as the crawlers pick up the targeted keywords or a businesses’ name which occur in discussions that are threaded or linked to. The more often a page is linked or ranked, the better chances it has of being featured in
search engine result pages.

These results are more relevant as they do away with the classifications formulated by mechanically brained spiders and allow for a better system of classification based on innate understanding which humans are capable of.

At
Clear Media Online, we understand such SEO tactics. Our services include social book marking methods in order to boost your website’s visibility.

Search Engine Optimizers And Their Clients:

When a client entrusts its online portal to the web developers of a search engine optimization agency, there is some kind of unspoken but heavily emphasized expectation that is placed on the services of the latter; mainly, the quality of work that is desired by the client. While this is understandable behavior on part of the client [it’s their money on the line], SEOs cannot always be expected to provide the exact same results. Slight variation between any two individual’s thoughts is de rigueur in any field.

An
SEO firm has to be capable of identifying those sections of the client’s business that bring in higher profits besides identifying the client base. Market needs are dynamic and an SEO firm has to be flexible enough to accommodate such fluctuations.

The client in turn, has to have a concrete business plan. If the business model is not suitable for achieving long-term results, than all the exposure and the customers that the employed
e-marketing tactics bring the client are of little value.

There is not much that can be gained from copying a successful business competitor’s business model either. What a client needs to understand is that while some strategies work for one business, the same cannot be expected to work for another. One benefit of this is the customized service a client can benefit of from the
e-marketer.

While the job of the
SEO is to plan and implement strategies for better search engine results, it is the job of the client to approve keywords, text and occasionally involve himself in the promotion process by providing a personal touch.

It may seem from above that the clients play a role as important as the
SEO, but it is important to emphasize the client’s role in the marketing campaign. Without active participation on part of the client, the entire e-marketing plan will crumble.

Clear Media Online, realizes the importance of each of our clients. Our teams of professionals ensure client involvement in every stage of the SEO process and together help their respective web domains to achieve satisfying results.

You’ve Got Mail:

An e-mail saves the trouble and cost of picking up that phone to call someone living in the city and inform them about the thanksgiving party happening later in the month at your home in the suburbs. Since that person is more likely to read his or her mails at work than accept a call, your e-mail is likely to reach your message across faster.

Though
e-marketing companies certainly don’t feel the need to inform a person about garden parties and the like, they certainly do feel the need to inform a person about the possible gifts that can be given for such a party or even help the host in buying the equipment [grill, skewers, knives, etc.] for the same. And what’s more, the host and the guest both can end up having while a smashing time thanks to that e-mail they had subscribed from that barbecue equipment company.

The idea of the humble e-mail has thus widened from being a medium of staying in touch with friends and relatives, to a neat
e-marketing tool utilized by small and big companies alike. It saves time, it saves big advertising money, and it increases awareness about the producer. And while it goes about being such a money-saver, it also shows the effort the producer will go through to ensure that their consumer can avail of their services whenever they feel the need to.

No hard-selling, no force, no aggressive marketing tactics. The consumer is the boss, and is rightly treated so.

At
Clear Media Online, we have an e-marketing team who understands the consumer mind explicitly. Our e-mail marketing tactics are proactive, precise, cost-reducing and excellent revenue-generators. Through our careful market evaluation, we take care to ensure that the consumer is not plagued with mails which he or she does not have any need for. Information overload is avoided and consumer interest is cultivated. View our testimonials to know more about our successful online marketing methods.

Understanding The Meta Factor:

Some of the best web developer communities hold meta elements in good regard. They insert meta elements into the HTML document, which then provides information about the webpage, allowing search engines to categorize the page correctly. Content, http-equiv, name and scheme are the important characteristics of a meta element. Content, as the old internet adage goes, is the ruling factor.

In the 1990s, search engines relied on meta elements to correctly classify a web page. If a webpage had the right meta elements, a high ranking in searches was possible, thus increasing the site’s visibility.
SEOs made use of this rich feature in order to get a better ranking for their client pages. Today, meta elements have a lesser role to play due the increase in sophistication of search engine robots. However, they still rank as one of the best methods to get effective search engine rankings.

An important meta element which developers cash in on are
meta tags. They help identify the page owner, what pattern of HTML the webpage follows, the keyword and page description, etc. The title tags and meta description tags are the key meta elements that most SEOs concern with. The former is a very essential factor in terms of search engine relevancy. The text used in the title tag is what helps a search engine in ranking your webpage in their search listings.
The meta description tag on the other hand, talks about your webpage. In a way it is a dekko to your page. Search engines like Google sometimes generate their own description of a page. However, using a meta tag description for your webpage allows you to influence various web crawlers.

At
Clear Media Online, our SEO experts apply meta elements among other tools in order to garner your site optimum rankings. Visit our website to know more about how we do it.

The Value Of Smart Copy Writing:

Search engines are used for the sole purpose of ferreting out information from the WWW. The website that has the most amount of rankings usually is the one that turns up first in such a search. Such sites have usually built their credibility from purely the quality of content that they feature. If the content is interesting, the website is frequented more often. If the content is terrible and haphazard, well, the website simply won’t feature in the top pages. Copy writers are thus important tools in an e-marketing concern. It is their responsibility to juxtapose excellent written material with the other elements of a website like photos, graphics and interactive features.

According to Beni Arriola, 2007 SEO champion, good
copy writing combined with traditional marketing methods is the rule of the game. If the quality of writing is good, the e- marketing efforts are directly affected, for the better. An offshoot of e-marketing, SEO or Search engine Optimization, utilizes the combined efforts of web designers, copy writers, and marketing experts to increase a blog’s or website’s visibility in search engine results.

At
Clear Media Online, our team of copy writers meticulously research, compile, edit and develop the content that is put up on our client websites and blogs. Each article’s originality and authenticity is guaranteed. Marketing and copy writing ethics are strictly adhered to, while creativity and innovation are given a wider berth. We work in tandem with our web developers and designers, marketing experts, and search engine optimizers to provide our clients with outstanding results. The testimonials we have received attest to our proficiency and skills. Visit us at Clear Media Online to know more about our copy writing services.

HTML And Effective SEO:

Two acronyms that play such an important role in the world of internet marketing- HTML and SEO. HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language. It is used as a tool for designing websites. It can be referred to as the skeletal system of a website, in context to the role it plays in holding a website together. The HTML code of a website contains directions on how the text, images, and other components are going to be linked with one another. It brings the written word to life.

SEO or Search Engine Optimization refers to the process of increasing the amount of visitors to a Web site by ranking high in the search results of a search engine. When a surfer types in his query in a search engine, he is presented with a list of results, any of which he can select. The web site that has come up first in the list of results that the search has generated has been able to do so because it is more popular than the other sites. This is where SEO comes into play. It is a very effective marketing tool that is employed by site owners in order to increase a site’s relevancy.

Combined with
HTML, SEO is a powerful tool. The simple interface HTML applies in generating a website enables the basic information featured on a website to be made available to a search engine, which skips past the flash of the site. The originality of the content featured in a site thus, has a lot of bearing in how soon the site is picked up b the search engine and made available to the surfer.

Using SMO For SEO:

No, it’s not a secret language. Neither is it classified information. SMO or Social Media Optimization is a very trendy acronym that’s been playing around online marketing communities since the power of social networking sites like Orkut, Facebook, Digg, MySpace, Yahoo! 360, etc. were realized by the same. With the goal being to move beyond common e-marketing methods like SEO [Search Engine Optimization], SMO is a very useful tactic that can be applied to reach a far wider audience and tap into a larger network of bloggers, vloggers, businesses and even casual surfers.

Boosting An Offline Presence Online:

The Internet has changed the way the regular businessman operates his business.
By enabling him to have a constant net presence it has brought the consumer closer to the supplier. Space and time constraints are not a problem on the Internet. For the consumer, the internet is a very convenient time-saving medium in which he can access the supplier from the comfort of his own home.
The Internet, as a marketing tool is thus decidedly powerful. In order to fully utilize the efficacy of this medium, following a few simple techniques can prove very helpful to the supplier. Identifying the target market is the most basic and primary strategy to be taken care of in the e-marketing process. The website is designed according to the sensibilities of the target market. There has to be a balance between an attractive user interface and easy navigability.

E-marketing features like virtual tours, regular e-mail updates, and hassle-free feedback forms help the supplier in building his database while analyzing his market. One important technique which can further strengthen a supplier’s web presence is integrating online marketing with offline marketing. For instance, the business can display its URL on advertising material like office stationary, flyers, press releases, business cards, etc. while the website in turn, can display the company logo in specific places.

Following up on consumer response is another powerful
e-marketing technique which helps in clinching a purchase. If the consumer is assured first-rate quality along with complementary services like special discounts, offers on home deliveries, free maintenance, etc. his loyalty to the company is sure to be assured.

At
Clear Media Online we utilize all these e-marketing tools to good effect. You can observe from our webpage the clear and dynamic interface which our web development team has applied to relay our message across. Our client testimonials stand test to our exceptional skills.

Spam- An E-marketing Plague:

Largely associated with e-mail marketing, unsolicited junk e-mail, more commonly known as spam, is a ubiquitous presence in almost every e-mail inbox. The computer group lab at the University of Southern California compares spam to the lunchmeat Spam, as according to them, “sometimes it is actually tasty, like 1% of junk mail that is really useful to some people”. However, organizations both large and small are forced to deal with this problem, and in terms of the costs it involves to take care of spam, it is not even one percent edible or tasty.

Unwanted mail, while being the source of malicious scripts and viruses also consumes a considerable fraction of the company’s internet bandwidth. Important mails are frequently kept on hold while unwanted mails are being downloaded. Spam not only steals system resources, it also reduces the productivity of the organization. According to an IDC paper estimate, one in every five e-mail messages a person receives is spam, and on an average an employee spends five seconds deleting each spam message.

The
e-mail marketing campaigns which Clear Media Online applies are a remote cry from the unwanted junk mails that seem to proliferate every e-mail inbox. We utilize the best security softwares available to combat spam. Moreover, your consumers are provided with the option of subscribing to regular updates. The entire e-marketing process is made hassle free. The e-mails we send your target market while providing details of any updates of the products, also function as reminders for them of the same.

Appealing User Interfaces:

Admit it. When you are browsing the World Wide Web, you would rather prefer to visit sites which not only have the information you are looking for, but are also appealing to the eyes. It has to hold your interest. Out of all the senses the human mind relies on for cognition of its surroundings, the sense of sight is the one that rules the workings of the World Wide Web.

Today, increasing businesses are relying on interactive and attractive graphics to sway the the discerning buyer. Advertising departments of successful organizations, too realize the importance that visual satisfaction has for a consumer. What else would drive Motorola to launch the
MOTORAZR V3i Dolce and Gabbana edition or why else would an increasing number of websites use photographs of perfect, smiling models to showcase their services.

Based on how the package looks and the content presented, the bid is made. Looks, seemingly, matter just as much in the virtual world as they do in the material world. The lowering of
web site development and hosting costs too has led to the increasing relation between web design and development companies and large businesses looking to cover a wider reach of consumers. Systems like LAMP [Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP] are distributed free of charge; while tools like Microsoft FrontPage and Adobe Dreamweaver are so easy to use that proficiency in them is acquired quite easily in a matter of minutes. If companies are offering professionals adept in tools like these, then why not make optimum use of such services?

At
Clear Media Online, we offer the best web design and web development services to our clients. Visit us here to view our illustrative portfolio. Our talented team of professional web designers and developers make use of the best resources available in the market in order to deliver an appealing interface. Increase in traffic to your web site using our high quality original designs is ensured.

The Languages Of The Internet:

With the first breakthroughs in creating websites taking place at CERN in the late 1980s, the internet as a medium of communication and broadcaster of information saw a boost in popularity. There was a new stratum of professionals who became indispensable to businesses with their skills in harnessing this newly leashed media.

The first ever language these
web developers used for composing web pages was GML or General Markup Language which was influenced by Script which introduced the concept of styles being separated from the marked up document. GML allowed for the processing of same source files to produce books, reports and electronic editions. However, this was limited to limited document formats. SGML or Standard General Markup Language was then introduced, which provided to be an intermediary for manipulating and exchanging text documents. SGML, in turn was used as a base for another language, HTML or Hypertext Markup Language, which allowed the developers to use fixed tags for composing a website. SGML’s more recent avatar, XML or Extensible Markup Language, allows users flexibility in terms of defining their own tags.

XML, made new kinds of Java based applications possible.
JavaScript, a scripting language [not to be confused with the programming language Java], allowed an individual to add new elements and attributes to a webpage, besides re- structuring options, without having to know any other complex languages. JavaScript also allowed a shift away from static HTML displays. Ajax [Asynchronous JavaScript And XML] is another JavaScript based programme, which reveals and updates parts of a web page as a systematic process. The excellent attributes of Web 2. 0 can be seen in such a programme where interaction between the user and the web site is made possible. Google Maps is a good example of Ajax techniques.

Our website packaging at
Clear Media Online includes graphic design, coding of web pages and interactive web applications, by using languages like HTML, XML, JavaScript, etc. Websites developed by us are scripted in file formats easily picked up and accessible to search engines.

Don’t Be Part Of The Invisible Web. Come Into The Light:

The web spiders are important ‘creatures’ in the virtual world. Entrusted to them is an important task of recognizing web pages that are in their database and including them in a web search. They obtain new pages, update existing ones and delete pages that are obsolete. In order for a spider to find a web page, the page has to be linked to by another page. If this has not been done, then it can be remedied by sending the URL to search engine companies and requesting them to include the new page into their search. Most search engines operate several spiders at a time. The most popular search engine in use on the WWW is Google Search. Yahoo! Search, Live Search, Ask.com etc are some of the other popular search engines on the internet.

The next step is
indexing, where the pages are sent to another computer program, where links, keywords, etc. come into major play in identifying the relevancy and relation of the web page to the search. The search engine then picks up these relevant web pages from a database of web pages which exist on servers and then bring them up as results in a search.

There are some web pages, however, which do not show up in a
search engine search, which are part of that obscure part of the WWW known as the ‘Invisible Web’ or ‘Deep Web’. The University of California, Berkeley, in a study, estimated that the ‘Deep Web’ contained approximately 91,000 terabytes of data and 550 billion individual documents. Web spiders cannot access these pages because, A. the sheer bulk of them presents the problem of too much clutter, and B. they have technical barriers like access by typing manually, a function which spiders cannot perform by themselves.

At
Clear Media Online, our team submits your website using well applied techniques so it is quickly and accurately noticed by the algorithmic crawlers [spiders] of the web and linked to and picked up by a search engine quickly. Your web page’s exceptional visibility in the virtual world is assured.

Is Your Website An MFA Site?

Forgery, deception, piracy, stealing, fraud, etc. Different terms used to describe the very pervasive and very serious issue of plagiarism. The internet, along with bringing about an entire era of optimized intellectual freedom, also brought in its wake the threat of infringement of content and ideas through a concept called web scraping that many website developers as well as businesses dealing in online marketing are till date dealing with.

Web scraping is a concept applied by scraper sites which are completely unoriginal in their design. The main purpose of such sites is to generate its own content by copying content from other sites directly. The intent behind such an idea? The need to rank high in search engine results. Very convenient and very easy. This is made possible mainly with the help of machines which are able to generate keywords in multitude and variety so as to hoodwink search engines. But there are also firms that also hire writers that specialize in web scraping who are paid an amount like $1 for 500 words, as noted in an article by Danny Bradbury for the
Guardian.

With the dawn of advertising programs like
Google AdSense, scraper sites have made their presence so notorious all over the WWW, that a separate term- MFA or Made For AdSense- has been coined to describe them. Initially started as a revenue generator for individuals and firms transacting business online, Google AdSense allowed for a user to allow adverts that would be relevant and useful to those browsing through their website. Surfers visiting a site would click on an advert and in the process, would enable the site owner to make a profit as he would partake part of the revenue Google earned from the advertiser. MFA sites have exploited this system by existing for the sole purpose of getting people to click on the adverts the site displays.
At Clear Media Online, you are guaranteed that your website is free from the risk of being an MFA. Our team of professional content writers is aware of the responsibility of the importance of staying true to the ideals of online marketing. We aim to direct traffic to your website with the exclusive aid of the relevance of your site content and not through inane advertisements.

WEB 2.0:

It’s a big big world out there, and with the advent of Web 2.0, the other world which has slowly but surely become an un-noticed fixture to our lives- otherwise known as the virtual world, has become even bigger.

Web 2.0, at best, can be described as the ‘just uberdescendent of the World Wide Web[WWW] which has been around since 1989, when it was created by Sir Tim Berners-Lee and Robert Cailliau working for CERN in Geneva, Switzerland. Tim O'Reilly, who hosted the Web 2.0 Conference in 2004 along with John Battelle, and MediaLive, introduced the Web 2.0 meme or idea. It was a sell out. What it did though was not upgrade the internet literally, as its version numerals seem to point out, but instead it changed the way users of the WWW used the same.

Interaction is the hallmark of the Web 2.0 meme. A plethora of web based communities and hosted services like weblogs, wikis, podcasts, RSS, web application programming interfaces (APIs)feeds, digital media uploading websites, online web services such as eBay and Gmail and new types of online social networking websites, to name just a few, are the features that make Web 2.0 a force to reckon with in regards to adapting the power of the internet.

The core principles that underlie the
Web 2.0 meme are simple. The web is basically a platform, the driving force of which is the data.
There is a level of involvement the user has which allows for him to add value to the application.
Web 2.0 companies build systems that get better with the increase in the amount of people using them. Thus a user- friendly interface is one smart feature that is applied very prominently by such companies. Bart Decrem, a founder and former CEO of Flock, calls Web 2.0 the "participatory Web" and regards the Web-as-information-source as Web 1.0 or in other words the old WWW.

Web 2.0 turns the web into a global brain by harnessing collective intelligence. It is the user who decides what is important. At Clear Media Online we make sure that the WWW is more than just what it used to be with our adaptation of the Web 2.0 idea. Our team assures that the force of the internet shall stay with you.
